Who is Matt?
I’m an accomplished Engineer with a specialism in Structural Analysis and Engineering Capability Development with a drive to see individuals and teams thrive.
With over 20 years experience in the Engineering industry, I’m a Chartered Fellow of the IMechE with an extensive background in Structural analysis, design and research including delegated Technical Authority within the Structural Analysis domain. He has worked across many high profile programmes including the F-35, and the Airbus A350. In recent years I’ve been focussing on early concept design, including work as a Structures Lead within Team Tempest.
Recently, I’ve completed the Coach Development Programme and am working towards becoming an Accredited Executive Coach, which scratches my itch for helping individuals become the best they can. If I can help you in this regard, please get in touch.
My future focus is a mixture of research, capability development and sharing my knowledge in order to inspire and develop the next generation of Engineers and develop a sustainable Engineering Industry that will meet the needs of future generations of the World.
In addition to Engineering and Coaching, I also spend time being creative – music, photography and digital art as well as various more active endeavours such as running (when I’m not injured!) and golf. I also enjoy automating as much in my life as I can and I’m slowly turning our home into something Tony Stark would be proud of.
